Direct purchase of surplus branded stock
Sell surplus stock as a manufacturer or brand owner
Stock & Trade buys complete non-food end products directly from manufacturers and brand owners when stock no longer fits production, product range or distribution plans.
The products may still be fully saleable, while selling through existing dealers, countries or sales channels is no longer desirable. Stock & Trade therefore assesses whether a direct purchase is possible under specific, workable arrangements for onward sale.

When branded stock falls outside current plans
Production volumes and market allocations are often set before final demand is fully known. If sales forecasts, customer purchases or product range decisions subsequently change, branded stock may fall outside current commercial plans.
This may occur because of overproduction, a model change, a packaging change, a cancelled project or the discontinuation of a product line. The products may still be new, complete and fully saleable; they simply no longer fit the original plan or distribution route.
Commercial stock
Selling stock without disrupting the regular distribution network
The regular distribution network is organised around current ranges, planned product launches and agreed price and market positions. Offering surplus branded stock through the same route may compete with current products or place additional pressure on dealers and distributors.
Stock & Trade can purchase the defined stock directly in one transaction. This creates a separate route to market alongside the existing distribution network for products that no longer fit current plans.
Whether this route adequately protects existing market and distribution interests depends on the arrangements for onward sale. Relevant brand, market and channel interests are therefore discussed before a purchase proposal is made.

Agreeing brand, market and channel interests in advance
For branded stock, both the products available and their commercial context matter. Tell us early if the stock is connected to existing dealer arrangements, regional market allocations, a product launch or the positioning of current product lines.
A general wish to protect the brand or distribution network is not sufficiently clear. Stock & Trade must be able to establish which products and markets are concerned and what specific effect should be prevented during onward sale.
We can then discuss whether workable arrangements are required for destination markets, sales channels, timing or product presentation. Only conditions specifically agreed in advance become part of the purchase.

Which manufacturer data supports a focused assessment?
Products with the same commercial name may differ in specification, generation, intended market or packaging. Clear identification helps Stock & Trade recognise these differences and assess the stock as one coherent position.
Where available, provide:
- exact item, model and EAN numbers;
- product generation and specific version;
- country, language or market version;
- packaging version or relevant packaging change;
- range status, such as current, end-of-line or discontinued;
- original market or channel destination;
- manufacturer-specific product documentation;
- specific brand, market or channel interests applying to particular items.
Not all details need to be complete at the first contact. An existing stock export may be shared as a starting point. Stock & Trade then identifies which additional manufacturer data is genuinely needed.
Commercial stock
Direct purchase of the defined branded stock
Stock & Trade buys the agreed branded stock directly from the manufacturer, brand owner or authorised sales organisation. The defined stock may include several models, specifications, product generations or packaging versions, provided the goods and quantities included are clear.
Following the agreed transfer, Stock & Trade assumes responsibility for further commercial handling and the resale risk. Sales take place within the brand, market and channel arrangements specifically recorded in advance.

Does your organisation have branded stock that no longer fits current product range, market or distribution plans? Share the available stock data with Stock & Trade and identify relevant brand, market or channel interests at an early stage.
We assess whether a direct purchase of the defined stock is possible and which additional manufacturer data or resale arrangements are needed to discuss a focused proposal.
