Commercial stock
Within garden machinery, Stock & Trade assesses four main product groups.
Electric, cordless and petrol lawn mowers, robotic mowers, associated base and charging stations, ride-on mowers and professional mowing machines. Grass trimmers, edge trimmers, brush cutters, scarifiers, lawn aerators and complete lawn sweepers and collectors also fall within this group.
Hedge trimmers, chainsaws, pruning saws, pruning machines, pole saws and telescopic pruning machines for consumers, prosumers and professional users. Complete multi-function garden machines with pruning or sawing attachments may also be included.
Garden tillers, cultivators, earth augers, lawn rollers and other soil-cultivation machines. Chippers, shredders and log splitters may also form part of the stock offered.
Leaf blowers, leaf vacuums, garden sweepers, pressure washers and other outdoor cleaning machines sold within a garden machinery range. Snow blowers, snow clearers, spreaders, sweepers and complete brand-specific patio and surface cleaners may also be assessed.
Other commercial machinery stock for garden, park, grounds or green-space maintenance may also be submitted. Stock & Trade assesses the commercial and practical potential of each lot.
Commercial stock
Stock & Trade focuses on complete garden machines, complete resale-ready sets, and brand-specific batteries, chargers and accessories that can be sold independently as end products.
The original factory configuration determines whether a product is complete. A machine sold by the manufacturer without a battery, charger, collection system or other optional part counts as complete. This also applies to base stations, chargers and other system components included in the range as independently saleable items.
If a part originally belonging to the model or set, or required for safe and normal use, is missing, the product is considered incomplete.
Loose spare, service and repair parts and consumables do not form an independent starting point for this page. If an otherwise suitable mixed garden machinery lot contains a limited proportion of parts, consumables or incomplete products, the complete stock may still be submitted as a whole.
Commercial stock
The primary focus is on new garden machinery stock. This may be sale-ready stock in its original packaging, as well as new products with opened, damaged or outdated packaging.
Customer returns, demonstration and showroom machines, professionally refurbished products, B-stock and used commercial machines may also be submitted. These products may form part of a mixed stock lot or be submitted separately.
Where the condition is not fully known or recorded, Stock & Trade first assesses the available information. We only ask additional questions about completeness, test status or technical condition where this is necessary for the particular lot.
Commercial stock
Demand for garden machinery is often seasonal and weather-dependent. Where actual sales differ from the original plan, stock that no longer fits the current range or commercial calendar may become available during or after a sales season.
Garden machinery stock may also arise when a manufacturer renews a series, changes model or item numbers, adapts packaging or brand presentation, or discontinues a product line. For cordless machines, a move to a new battery platform may leave machines, batteries, chargers and accessories from an earlier generation separate.
Stock from an older season, earlier model generation or discontinued battery platform can still be assessed together or separately. It is important to show the series or platform to which each item belongs, which products are compatible and whether they can be sold independently.
Commercial stock
Where possible, state the brand, model or item number, production date or year of manufacture, power source and technical version for each model. For electric and cordless machines, voltage, frequency, plug type and battery platform are also important.
For complete sets and machine systems, state which batteries, chargers, base stations, attachments and other accessories belong to the version offered. For products from one platform or series, compatibility information helps determine which complete and independently saleable combinations can be assembled.
Available serial-number and rating-plate data, CE and conformity documentation, manuals and other technical product information support assessment by market. This information does not need to be complete at the first submission. Stock & Trade first assesses the overview and then asks targeted questions about the data or documents still required.
Commercial stock
For mains, battery or petrol-powered garden machines and robotic or autonomous models, we consider the technical version, completeness, applicable safety features and suitability for the intended market.
For cordless machines, the battery platform and compatibility between machines, batteries and chargers are important. For petrol machines, we consider the technical version and conditions for safe storage and transport.
For robotic mowers and other autonomous garden machines, the availability of a base station, charger and navigation components, the ability to factory-reset the product, and any app, account, software, subscription or regional restrictions may be relevant.

Yes. A commercial stock lot may contain different product groups, brands, models and power sources. Mowers, pruning machines, soil-cultivation machines and seasonal machinery powered by mains electricity, batteries or petrol may be submitted together. The available overview must make the items and quantities sufficiently clear.

If it is a version or set in which those parts were originally included or required for safe and normal use, it must be clear which parts are present and which are missing.

Machines, batteries, chargers and accessories from a discontinued series can be assessed together or separately. It helps if each item shows its series or platform and which products are compatible.
An existing stock list containing brands, model or item numbers, quantities and product conditions usually provides a good basis. Where possible, also state the year or date of manufacture, power source and battery platform. For complete sets, robotic mowers and other machine systems, an overview of the associated batteries, chargers, base stations, attachments and accessories is helpful. The technical data and documents do not need to be complete at the first submission.
Yes. Robotic mowers and other autonomous garden machines with an app, user account, software function or subscription may be submitted. Stock & Trade assesses whether the machine can be reset, required accounts are transferable, and essential components such as the base station, charger and navigation modules are present. Regional or subscription restrictions are also considered.
